In 2003, the Sandoval brothers established a small, family run plant nursery. The two brothers relocated their Bay Area operation to their new home in the city of Watsonville, CA.
Set in the heart of the Pajaro Valley, Watsonville boasts an ideal climate for greenhouse plant production and their location in California’s Central Coast region allows Green Land Nursery to take advantage of the mild local climate. This unique micro-climate allows them to weatherize their plants for at least three weeks prior to marketing and distribution. Their passion for growing quality plants has earned Green Land Nursery pride of place among the region’s greenhouse growers, along with their many loyal and satisfied customers and business partners.
Today, Green Land Nursery is an established business, growing plants for the wholesale trade. Green Land Nursery works in close cooperation with private customers, landscapers, wholesale brokers and retail nurseries. They have a wide variety of options including perennials, shrubs, ground covers, succulents and native plants. Some of their most popular varieties are found among the dicksonia ferns and heuchera plants, which are available in a range of sizes. The company is constantly developing and marketing new varieties of flowers, shrubs and ornamental plants for the bedding and potted plant market.
